About Melissie Jolly

"I was born in Kenya during an African uprising and often felt as if it never stopped. As a psychic and a sensitive, life was a series of uprisings until I discovered the healing power of colour.

I spent my life trying to work out what it was I was meant to be doing and went from studying psychology to art, frustrating myself around every corner until the colours burst into my reality.

 

Sadly it took me to the age of 42 before I knew what I was going to do when I grew up. But at that point everything suddenly made sense and all my studies could be utilised under the umbrella of colour. Now living at the southern most part of Africa, my life is peaceful, joyous and abundant and very very colourful.

I live in Stanford, near Hermanus, where the Southern Right whales come to birth their babies every September and I look at the mountains, which being a colour therapist, I turn pink every evening at sunset and I make the colours you see in the Colour Mirrors bottles. I energise them with African sunshine and love to mirror the magnificence of you."

About Moira Bush

Based in Warwickshire, England.

Life was too busy for noticing colour; working in the business and personal development field and studying in my spare time meditation and mediumship. So it was with some surprise that I found myself in December 2003 meeting a fellow South African in remote Cornwall, England and attending her colour course. The group were so excited by the deep knowledge that colour gave us that we asked Melissie to come back. The second course happened in January 2004 and by then I was hooked. In March that year I had bought a set of bottles and offered colour readings. The response from people to the bottles and information were so spectacular that I phoned Melissie and invited her to come back to England and teach me more so that I could make ‘colour’ my new business. Melissie spent the summer with me, helping to set up the Distribution Centre in the UK. By November that year I had resigned my job and launched full time into getting Colour Mirrors known globally.

I support Melissie with the setting up of Distribution Centres; managing the administration and business aspects; running the Distribution Centre in the UK; managing the Colour Mirrors Website; training Practitioners up to Teacher Trainer Level and teaching all other Colour Mirrors courses. During 2010 we set up centres in Portugal and Dubai and my latest project for Melissie is to introduce Colour Mirrors to the USA.

Philippa Merivale wrote the original text book called Colourworks, Pippa has asked me to update this book and re-publish a new version called Colour Mirrors. During 2010 we will be launching the Colour Mirrors Oracle Cards, FREE Apps and a full App for purchase based on the oracle cards. The 60 page mini book and 44 Oracle cards will help you do your own readings or offer insights and guidance to others. Each card will be linked to a FREE meditation to further support your learning experience with colour.

I came from a background of administration and human resources but had been interested in all things spiritual since my early twenties when I decided I would find a way to make life better, easier and simpler. I was sure it didn’t need to be so hard or so painful as most of us seemed to find it. I spent many years searching and researching and trying out everything I could but colour didn’t feature until 2004 when I helped organise a large Mind Body & Spirit festival in Salisbury, England. There I first met Moira and Colour Mirrors.

I remember seeing the pictures of the bottles on the internet for the first time and feeling intense downloads of energy from them. I had a reading with Moira and was transfixed. How could colour reveal this much about me and my path? How could bottles of coloured oils show me my path, my challenges, my gifts? But they did – and so much more. I began the Colour Mirrors journey almost immediately and loved the Colour 1 and 2 courses I took with Moira. In November 2005 I met Melissie for the first time when I trained as a Teacher of Colour and something profound slotted into place for me. I suddenly heard someone speaking my language. Colour and Melissie’s teachings made sense of life for me in a way nothing ever had before.

I’m privileged to work closely alongside Melissie and Moira in the ongoing adventure that is Colour Mirrors. I’m also delighted to have been involved in the development of the Golden Keys to Ascension Programme and the Advanced Colour course. My love of writing and editing led me to write The Language of Light: Golden Keys to Ascension and  Colour Conversations and to write a new book about Colour Mirrors (I hope both of these will be ready to share with the world in 2012). I’m also currently working on a novel (just for a bit of creative fun!). Writing the Language of Light was one of the most profound things I have experienced to date and has shown me what I was seeking all those years ago: how to live a life of ease, joy, peace, flow and inspiration.

As well as writing books I offer Colour Mirrors Practitioner, Advaned and Teacher Trainer courses and also train others to run the Golden Keys programme. I am delighted to see new teachers and facilitators taking Colour Mirrors out into the world in their own unique ways. Personally, I've lately been developing whole new areas with colour including working with Light Grids. That’s one of the things I love most about this system – we all find our own path with it and use it in whatever way fits with our personal style and passions.
