Psychology of Colour
All over the world it is recognised that each colour has a meaning, and Colour Practitioners use this information to access the reasons behind our issues and dramas relating to money, relationships, career, weight and ill health. Let us take the language of yellow as an example, and look at the positive and negative (polar) aspects of this colour:

Some examples of yellow bottles from the Colour Mirrors system are bottles 1, 25, 28, C3 & Yellow Angel.

Armed with this knowledge the Colour Practitioner now takes it a step further, looking at the complementary colour violet, as well as any other colour included in the bottle selection chosen by the client (many of the bottles contain two colours). This enables the Practitioner to identify the hidden or unconscious patterns that have been keeping you in the negative aspects of yellow. The Practitioner will then discuss with you ways you can use yellow and the information it contains to heal.

yellow-and-violet1Colour Combinations

When we look at colours in combination, we get another whole layer of information. As an example, with yellow and violet, we see personal power (yellow) and inner spiritual power (violet) coming together. These two colours together can relate to betrayal by someone in authority and this could lead to difficulty trusting in leaders or being in leadership positions. There are hundreds of colour combinations and Colour Mirrors offers an Advanced Colour Course on this specialised subject that takes colour analysis to the next level.

How does colour work?

We have a physiological response to colour.  Put a man in a red room and studies have shown his blood pressure increases, his heart rate increases and body temperature goes up.  Put him in a blue room and his blood pressure drops, his heart beat slows and temperature drops.  But colour doesn't just have an impact on the physical body, it also affects our moods and emotions; every day we choose colour clothing that makes us feel safe (blue), in power (black), in love (pink).  We choose colours in our home that makes us feel good and we find ourselves drawn to different colours in nature.  Making these choices are natural and personal.  In the Colour Mirrors system you are encouraged to choose the colours you are drawn to; your body knows which vibration of colour it needs at any given time.  Through colour you are taken on a journey of self-discovery, raising your consciousness and becoming more self-aware.
